Let me introduce myself...

Britton Purvis has been doing art in some form or fashion for his entire life. Never knowing how as an adult he would utilize his artsy abilities. Being a third generation hairstylist it makes sense for him to take to it like a fish to water. Britton originally was a licensed Cosmetologist in Florida, dont judge. While there he created a strong foundation of color techniques and cutting knowledge. In 2015 Britton moved to San Diego and dove into the speciality world of barbering. Shortly after the move he won the 43rd annual Nicky Award for Oustanding Hair Stylist. In 2019 he participated in the Guinness World record breaking event the Great Cut, as well as donating 14 inches of his own hair to Wigs for Kids in December 2019 to honor Christmas. Britton has managed and worked at barbershops and salons all over, but now finds his home at Richard Joseph Salon in the heart of Hillcrest!!
